When it comes to jobs, some people know what to get into as a career. However, there are green jobs for people who would love to help the planet and get paid. But, since there are different careers in this field, you may need some college degree such as in climatology and meteorology for example.  But if you currently do not have a college degree in any of the fields, check out your local colleges such as at the Universities and community college. They could pull you in the right direction.

Jobs for people who work in the renewable energy field could be harder to get in an economy that is not doing so well. But depending on what area of the job you are looking for, some are easier to get compare to someone who doesn't have any experience in the field.  One of the ways is to check out the job boards for atmospheric science or environmental jobs in the renewable energy fields. A few that comes to mind is at Green Dream Jobs and Renewable Energy Jobs for example. Monster may not have what you want which is typical for most job boards.

Social networking sites are another way to get help on finding environmental jobs in the renewable energy fields. Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are a few popular sites to consider since if you have friends or followers, it doesn't hurt to also get to know some of the people for a bit too.
